Facebook is Making an official Desktop App for Windows And Mac

Mark Zuckerberg the CEO of Facebook loves to make progress in Facebook and bringing some changes in it, Today we have got a report that Mark Zuckerberg is hiring Software Engineers and Desktop Softwares the Job Descriptions tells that Facebook in a need for Software Engineers to build a team to work on a new computer software.

Here's what was said in the Descreption :

The desktop software team is a new team at Facebook based out of Seattle, WA. We will be working on new products that we expect to deliver to millions of users’ computers to help make their entire computing experience more social. Facebook is seeking experienced Software Engineers in Seattle to join this team.

And here's what responsibilities of the Job further illustrates that Facebook is thinking to make a Desktop client for Mac and Windows. :

Responsibilities

• Create desktop applications for Mac and/or Windows
• Work closely with our product and design teams to define feature specifications
• Work closely with our Platform team to build server-side APIs and interfaces in support of these applications
• Conduct design and code reviews

So it is unclear if Facebook now is working to build a full fledged Desktop software of Facebook, or either they are working on Facebook Browsers for Windows and Mac.
